Bob is a native Texan, born in East Bernard, Texas in 1943. After graduating from EB high school, he traveled the west coast and joined the U.S. Army in Washington State. He spent a total of 5 years, 9 months, and 13 days in the Combat Infantry, mostly as a paratrooper with the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions except for a one year tour in Korea with the 2nd Infantry Division where he served as an instructor in the Advanced Combat Training Academy (Imjin Scouts). In addition to being a paratrooper Bob completed Pathfinder training and was sent TDY to Little Creek, Virginia where he completed the USMC Recon Training course. His last duty assignment was with the 101st Airborne in Vietnam (1967-68) where he was awareded the Combat Infantryman's Badge and a Bronze Star medal. He is a 1978 graduate of Houston Baptist University with a degree in Christianity and Psychology. He completed a Master of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science at the University of Houston (Clear Lake) and all but the dissertation for a PhD in Educational Psychology. Bob spent over 30 years is various sales, sale training and sales management postions spending the last 10 years of his employment as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) performing educational testing for Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Dissorders. Bob is also an ordained minister and has served as a Bi-vocatioonal pastor for two different churches for a combined total of over 24 years.
